7 Field Squadron R E.   Coventry Reunion 2019

Joined 7 FD SQN from recruit training in April 1965.I Joined 2 troop and served for 3 years. I left just after the move to Ripton at the begining of 1968 when I was posted to 1 Training Regiment at Cove.I spent 2 years there where I was joined by Bob Schofield also from 2 Troop who was on his way out of the Army.I applied for 9 Para Sqn and joined them after Para selection in Sept 1970 where I stayed until 1976 and then did selection at Hereford passed and joined them in summer 1977.I finished with the regulars in May 1988 and did a further 6 years with the TA in London.I am now retired and live in Derbyshire with my wife Sue and hopefully we will be attending our first reunion in Buxton next year.
